"TransAmer99" drove 5 hours round trip to come help my family and I rebuild our home.

We had several other friends come over the help today during our Crawfish Boil and Demo day.

We didn't slow down enough to take pictures, but we did stop long enough to take a drive in Jim's 2002 Firehawk. That car is RIDICULOUS...I mean ridiculously FAST. He let me get behind the wheel and go thru the gears and OH MAN was that FUN!!!!

Thanks a million Jim for your help and the drive!!!!

Yeah, we shoulda had a designated photographer - there were some really great moments worth capturing. Especially one involving a chair and some paint! LOL

But I enjoyed meeting everyone and we all made the work fun, which is really what it's all about. Day in and day out, you may not realize it, but you're makin' some serious PROGRESS on your home. And I am awed by your vision, determination and capabilities in making it happen.

That silly grin on your face rippin' through the gears in LadyHawk made the whole trip worthwhile! Hope your neighbors don't complain too much about the tire stripes I left on my way out!

And just to be sure, I made it back on $11 of gas, but finished the trip on fumes, buddy! Next time, I'd better plan to put in about $15 worth! Or else leave the house in the morning with more than 3/4 of a tank's worth...

Oh yeah - the crawfish were most excellent! They were still warm when I got home and the wife and kids enjoyed a handful before calling it a day.

For those of you unfamiliar with 'cajun cuisine', you just haven't lived until you've enjoyed a satisfying meal of 'mudbugs'!
