Ok...I'm a slow learner....but I now know that 49 year old men with a bad hip and balance issues should not climb on roofs and try to clear snow. Last week I decided to get up there and it went ok for awhile and the next thing I know I'm on the ground withering in pain. I'm starting to get around again but it could have been far worse then it was (I missed impaling myself on the boat dock support pipe by about a foot) so folks.....if you go up on your roof.......please be careful......this really sucks

Ouch! Hope things get better for you. I found that out the hard way a couple of years ago. Best wishes!

Thanks for the well wishes, another week or so and I'll be back in the saddle. Luckily I didn't brake anything...just bruised & battered.
