Hot Wheels has some Firebird diecast out. Like the 2010 New Editions 1967 Firebird and they brought back an old casting which is the Hot Bird.

Here are the same cars but customed. I did not do the custom work. A good friend of mine did them.

He does pretty good work. Hot Wheels have already did a recolor on the 67 Firebird. It is now red.

Sweet! Some of the dealers had some at AutoRama, but it was overpriced for what it is. My budget was kinda miniscule this year, which didn't help matters at all. I did get a set of the Action IROC Earnhardt '99-'00 TA's, though.

Cool! I doubt you find any of the red 67 Firebirds at the Louetta Walmart. I think I got them all. They only had one per case. The cases where already picked thru for the TH's but they left the Firebirds this time. I had a hard time finding the green ones when they first came out and there was about 4 of them per case. If you can't find the red one or the green one let me know. We can do some trading.

Well, Well, Well......
Look who showed up. ;)
Welcome Paul. :)
Nice to see you hanging on other Trans Am websites.

Transammer99,
I wasn't aware of any "sets".
Did you just get two separate cars?
What scale, 1/24th?
Good score.

George

5 cars, George. Dale Sr. cars in orange, blue, green and darker blue (1999-2001) and a reddish-orange Dale Jr. 2000 car. All in 1:64. I'll post pics later.

I found a '67 JL Classic Gold Series in red at the Big Lots off Sawdust Dr, Paul! Also the Hot Birds in purple with red flames (and red-spoked wheels) and the gold Arizona State car from the 'stackable box' series.

Now thats funny! I bought the same connect car at that very same Big Lots. I had bought 2 of the JL red Firebirds at another Big Lots. I normally try to by 2 at a time because I'm an opener. I have to see how they roll.LOL They also had the '69 Firebird New Mexico connect car there too. I found a JL 1973 Firebird Formula at the same Big Lots on Sawdust. I'm sure we are both going to the same stores. I think the only reason we have not bumped into each other is because I work the second shift. I work from 3pm to 11:30pm. I also keep odd hours. There is no such thing as night and day to me. I go by how many hours I sleep. Sometimes the days kinda run together but I am used to it. I used to work the night shift for many years and it kinda screws up your sleeping patterns.
