The finished product. The base didn't finish the way I wanted it to, but I soaked it in a chemical that took off a layer or two of rust, sealed it, so it shouldn't get worse.

Did you notice how the left side of the shifter rod is 20x better then the right side? Weird.

It wasn't in my car. Bought it from ebay way back in the begining of august. Not sure when it's going in though. May go in next week or I might wait, and maybe replace the shifter cable depending on condition.
