Well,
I just finished up a small project I was working on.
I took a Yat Ming 1/18th scale 1999 red convertible Ram Air Trans Am diecast, and took it apart, sanded it, and repainted it another 1999 color.
Black.
I then added the Ram Air decals to the hood.

I even added the correct black WS6 decals to the wheels.

I added some decals to the engine bay (like the battery decal, and another decal on the other side of the engine bay), painted the engine the alum it should be, as well as the tranny (I sure don't know why Yat Ming did them in blue), as well as painting the water bottles white.
Image
I also painted the opening of the exhaust pipes black, as well as redoing the center taillight lens in the red, instead of the white.

I even redid the gray in the door panels.

Now, I am thinking of doing some other factory colors. ;)
I'll have to post up some photos of some of my other stuff, like swapping interiors on the 1970 and 1973 Trans Ams.

Enjoy,

George

I likey. My goal is to combine an Ertl '96 with Yat Ming front and back pieces to come up with a late-4th Gen coupe. Then I'd like to replicate the SLP Firehawk hood and paint it silver... I wonder why??

You know,
I would love to see someone (maybe even Greenlight) come out with the fourth gen Firehawks.
Then again, same with a '91-'92 Firehawk. :D
