Well I went and looked at this 78 T/A today and I made the deal. Got her for $3,200.00 and going to pick her up tomorrow. She drives and runs pretty good and the guy has the missing interior pieces and the original air cleaner and carb. Also he is throwing in 2 brand new tires the same size as the rears now and 2 brand new door glasses since the originals are scratched up. It is an original Marti. Blue 78 and is a true WS6 car but is not a W72 like I was hoping also. Yes there is a trailer hitch on the back that will be coming off this weekend. There is a little more rust than he told me about in the car but its not that bad. The pass. front floor is rotted and it has a new panel in the trunk for it. Both lower rear 1/4's have some tiny holes and so does both front fenders at the bottoms. One tiny hole behind where the pass. rear wheel flare was and thats all the rust, trunk is solid and the tail panel, so is the core support. The drivers window switch has a short in it and you have to wiggle the wire on the switch to make it work. Also to open the drivers door you have to pull the outer handle and the inner handle at the same time, not sure whats going on there, never incountered that. Anyways here are the pics I took of it today after I drove it.

Nice find. Love the built-in 'cooler' for the fuel line! Have fun with it and keep us informed of your progress. Resto-builds are one of the more interesting aspects of the hobby for me. It feels good when another one is saved.
