The G8 GT is a very capable platform and for SLP to work their magic on it is commendable and desireable. And, since they own the name, it is their purview to do with it whatever they choose to do.

But as an existing customer and potential customer, I will NEVER, EVER consider the G8 a Firehawk. Firehawk has always been (and forever should be) the ultimate expression of later generation F-bodies. PERIOD.

I actually don't care too much for this one. If it were an F-Body Firehawk, I'd be drooling all over the keyboard right about now... :)
