This is some of what ive been up to on the "ol' bird" , i havent really given it alot of time until recently, changing the leaf springs, turned into a mission to say the least as all the bolts were rusted and knackered and the poor ol car had seen some rough repairs in its past.

But anyway heres a sneaky peak, its not finished yet and by golly ol boy it could do with a valet, but that can wait until everything is done and its wearing its new paint ( whenever i get round to doing it ).......... enjoy......

Take a 5 Series BMW.......

Take its interior........

Cut and weld accordingly........ Dont worry i havent finished it yet....

And you end up with a Sports Leather interior, belts buckles etc incl !!

Oh and ive fitted a early rear screen too... its yet to be bonded as its going to be flush mounted like the front screen....in case your wondering the primered part has a scoop in it, formed by myself ( aka #USTANG style )

Ive a long way to go but its getting there........

IF ANYONE IN THE UK WANTS ANY BESPOKE WORK DONE LET ME KNOW, IM JUST STARTING UP A BUISINESS!!!

Wow! This is the first time I've ever saw something this original done to one of these cars. Great work! She's going to look great! :)

No mate, i won them on Ebay USA, for a tiny amount, but the guy wanted $800 to ship them, in the end a very helpfull forum member on another site stepped in and helped me, im truly gratefull to that person.

Do you like them? im in 2 minds about keeping them, they definitely are a love / hate item.

They remind me of Herb Adams, i have seen the rears but i never have the money!

I'd like to see what the matching rears look like along with the fronts. I bought a set of "foilers" for behind all 4 wheels but haven't painted them to see how they'd look yet. That setup you got looks cool from the front!

Mine are Fibreglass ( GRP ) replicas, im not sure who or where, but they came from your side of the pond, maybe we should put up a post asking if anyone has any info, like i said i have seen them on the Herb Adams racers.
