I had some time tonight to do something constructive, so I decided to get a jump start on my interior revamp for “Eleanor”. I started with the console and radio bezel.

Here are the original pictures (This are the old pictures before I cleaned the interior.)

Between the added speakers and the cracked map tray it needed some help. The original console is not even attached.

Below is the initial cleaning and assembly of the new console. I still have to clean it one more time before I repaint the vinyl black.

The “chase” has started for a factory radio.

What type of radio are you looking for? AM or AM/FM stereo?

I believe I may still have the factory AM/FM Cassette that came out of Gray Ghost ('80 TA). But it was a dusty mess, wouldn't trust the tape player to work very well at all.
