 Post subject: 1978 Y88 Trans Am 4 Speed

Just picked up my first Trans Am and its an SE. Always wanted a bandit TA, but found this one and decided to restore it back to original. Come to find out that just over 1200 Y88's were built with a 4 speed. Got this one in decent shape, but will definately take some work to get it on the road. I got it for $2,000. It came with a bunch of spare parts. No motor, but it did come with the rebuilt borg warner 4 speed. Let me know what you think. I am open to your thoughts! Trunk is solid, just some surface rust.

I would go back all orginal with it but put a twist to it and but build the what is suppose to be the orginal motor and keep th 4 speed and make it quite
sleepers are the best
