What was the original tire size for the 1977 Trans-Ams with 15x7 Snowflakes? When I checked into it I got 205 or 225 70 R15s from the tire shops.

Thanks! I was thinking 225 but the tire shop said 205.

I know that on Gray Ghost ('80 TA with Rallye II's), 255-60R-15's fit just fine with no rubbing or clearance issues.

I thought that the 225s were for the WS6 15x8s and that the 7" wheels got GR70s which equate to a 217/70. Maybe that was just in the years that had the WS6 package starting in '78.
