Ok, now that things have warmed up here (a little) and dried out, I could get down and get some of the small parts to work on before I head to work during the week. My first project is going to be the reconditioning and modification of my tail lights. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them, but thanks to wheels78ta I have two sets to work with and come up with something unique.

This is the set that came with the car. One side has a socket melted out of the back and they were missing the license plate lights.

And these are the ones that wheels78ta went me. I was really surprised since all I was looking for at the time was the license plate lights. Neither of us noticed that they had been painted white. lol That's ok though. Now that I've had some time to consider it, I don't think that they will be needed now anyway.

First on the agenda is a good cleaning. Just don't tell Aimee I did this. ;)

Larry, you're giving me ideas with the dishwasher and all. I don't think I'm going to scrub my parts out in the sun to get them clean anymore. I'll just stick them in my dishwasher.

Nice though! I can't wait to see her all finished. You're paying attention to every single detail and I respect you for having the patience and time to do this! She is going to be a real beauty when finished!
