OK, the time has come, the funds are available, I'm replacing my suspension. Your thoughts and opinions are welcome. I've been talking with a friend on another forum and we've come up with the following as the preferred setup...

Use stock A-arms - rebuild them, new bushings, ball joints, etc.
    Monroe shocks all around
    Pro-Touring Parts...
    --Suspension Kit: GT Kit 2CS-420
--3 in 1 "shear proof" Solid Body Bushings
    --Sub-Frame Connectors
    Alignment once completed

This will get me one step closer to bringing the car up the Nationals. Appreciate your feedback folks!

Sounds like a decent setup, Bud!

I'm getting a complete rebuild on mine this winter although I'm setting mine up more for drag racing then touring. I've already installed Competition Engineering 3 way adjustable Drag Shocks. The front end rebuild, and the frame connectors will be done in early April.

Pete

The difference is going to blow you away, Rich. I just rebuilt my steering system with Moog parts, had all the bushings in the front end replaced and add the frame connectors. The ride now is 2nd to none, and handles like a dream.

Just a quick update, Matt and I pulled the rear suspencion yesterday and were preparing to put the new parts in when Matt found a rust problem near the spring plate mount. He recommended we fix it before continuing so we spent the rest of the day repairing that area. Today we are hoping to complete the project. I have taken lots of pics and will share the "fun" in a few days.
