After finally being able to move it under it`s own power , i took the opportunity to snap a few pics today . no glamor shots of the engine or interior though ,, beside`s ,, everyone knows what a 400 engine and stock interior looks like anyway , right ?? ok ,ok,,,it is that bad,, but im working on it . This is my $3000 dollar gem , not much to look at right now but it has potential , sure it frustrates me from time to time and a wrench or two has been thrown when things just didnt go right the first dozen times of trying . It has a 400 with who knows what for a cam , heads from a 71 gto ,an old edelbrock performer intake for square bore carbs , a 3310-750 holly that only idles when it feels like it , headman 3 tube headers , TH350 auto transmission , p/s & p/b . The interior is pieced together from a `70 t/a and is pretty rough looking and the kickpanel vents leak when it rains (i havent got around to fixing that yet ), The fenders have rust holes in the bottoms and the doors are rusty along the bottom seams , the trunk floor has issues ,and the lower rear qtr`s have alot of dough in them , the nose is from a `73 , i like it but im really thinking hard on finding a `75 front end and putting that back on it ,, but other than that im happy with it so far ,, wait ,, i hate the keystone classic rims that are on it ,, and as soon as i can afford replaceing them, they are history !! so far i have replaced all the rubber brake lines with earls hyper-flex lines , installed new calipers and rebuilt the rear drum brakes , replaced the motor mounts (what a job !! ) and trans mount ,replaced the a-arm bushings , replaced the rear leaf springs and related bushings and shocks , new (to the car ) gas tank , put in solid sub-frame bushings , i still have sub frame connectors and g-braces from pro touring f-body to install , new high performance distributer to install , then i`ll be ready to start on the bodywork[url][/url]
