Several of you have asked about the progress on my son’s car, so I posted the most recent pictures at http://www.screaminchickenchasers.com/garage_talk. My son and I will start back on it when I fully recover from the wreck. It is a full frame-off project.

Thanks,
Hooper

so what color is it going to be? what motor?
traditional 400? or a chevy?
what rear gear?
what shocks? what rims?
is it going to be frame off restored? or a custom?

To answer your questions poncholvr,

I let my son pick the color and he wanted the original color, which is Buccaneer Red. The car still has the original paint job. They even feathered the paint and left areas of exposed primer under the rear side spoilers.

Since it is for my son, it will be a traditional stock Pontiac 400.

Stock gearing in rear.

Nothing fancy on shocks.

Ralley II Rims.

Full frame-off restoration.

Now, after I finish his I also plan to built one for me to show with him that will a ’77 as well with either a hopped up Pontiac 400 or 455 with nothing stock about the car.

Can't wait to see her finished! I'm definitely going to keep my eyes out for a follow up.
