Very solid body. I don't know why the rear spoiler and the doghouse were primered. The rest of the paint is intact and in good condition. I'm planning on a repaint this spring or summer of 2008.

Here's a little shot of the interior when I got the car. It now has a radio and the interior has been "revived" in many ways.


It's on its way to being restored. I don't want a show quality car. Just a good looking bird that's in great condition that I can drive and enjoy.

Hey Solar.....I kinda like the Red nose emblem.....are you going to keep it that way or go with the Gold one? I like it....gives it contrast.

On 77 SEs the red arrowhead is correct believe it or not (77 SEs even have red birds on their wheel centercaps). It wasn't until 78 that these things became gold on SEs.

However, on my 77 Y81 I am going to replace these red items with incorrect gold ones. What can I say, I like the continuity of all the gold! :-)

Also thanks, I got the 80 Turbo home this weekend and I'll be posting more pictures of it this week sometime. I'm heading up to the courthouse today to get the new plates for it.
