Well here they are, I've been working on the 78 for a few years now, it has the OLDS 403 in it. I just bought the 80 Turbo, the Turbo is long gone and has a 350 OLDS Rocket in it but it's pretty much good to go other then a Tranny seal and some tweaking to the looks like rear window Louvers, Traction Bars and Graphics Package (I haven't decided if it'll be the traditional Trans Am decals or if I'll Air Brush it like I'm doing on my 78)

Here's the 78 I'm working on.

Very nice birds! Is that a film over the gauge glass on the first car? I haven't saw anything like that before.

Thanks, No the lens is red on my 78. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it that way. I need to put a different Dash Bezel on it (the one on it is flat chrome) so I'll decide then. It looks kinda cool having it red like that. On my 80 all the standard gauges have been changed to Red Digital Gauges, I'm a sucker for Red  My 1st & 2nd T/A's were both red (both long gone) and I have no doubt I'll have another red one sometime in the future. I just bought the 80 Turbo a week & a half ago and it's not home yet (it was suppose to be here last weekend but the weather didn't cooperate  ) one I get it home I'll be taking more pictures of it and post them. I turned out to be alot more of a T/A then I was expecting. Being a MN T/A I figured it would have some Rust issues on it (I hadn't seen pictures of it before I went to look at it) but when I got there I couldn't believe the shape it is in for the money he wanted ($4100 delivered....it was one of those "I NEED MONEY NOW") kinda deals (my favorite kind  ) I couldn't find ANY Rust or what looked like repair work on the body. The car was painted about 3 years ago and the interior was completely redone about the same time. I'll know more about the car once I get it home and can go over it with a fine tooth comb, the only thing he said it needed was a front tranny seal. After I paid him we sat and talked about the T/A and I point blank asked him "Ok...it's a done deal....now tell me about any problem area's" he replied "none that I know of except the tranny seal". While it has been modified I belive it's been tastefully done (as you can see the door panels look like they belone on a 77) and the 301 Turbo has been swapped out with a rebuilt 350 Olds Rocket, he was unsure of the exact year but thought it was a late 60's or early 70's. I'll add a few cosmetic things to it like rear window louvers, traction bars and the graphics package (traditional or air brushed, haven't decided yet) but all in all I think it's very presentable. Here's a link to the rest of the pictures I have of it right now. http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s258 ... rans%20Am/
Boy I hope the weather cooperates this weekend so I can get this Baby home :D

I like that 80 you just bought, the brown accents look nice.

Yeah before buying this one I really never gave much thought to the Turbo Hoods & Wheels but now I kinda like the look. The Shaker & Snowflakes will always be my #1 choice but the Turbo look is growing on me  Right now I'm leaning towards an air Brushed Graphics design but I wouldn't be able to do that until later this summer or next year where as I could get the decals on it right away. But as we're still in Winter mode here in MN it's not an issue for at least a month. (9 degrees here this morning with a wind chill of -16 and it looks as white as my 78 T/A out my front window  )

I hear you there, what part of MN are you in? I'm about 2 hours due east of the Twin Cities in central WI. My baby is in the shed waiting for the sun to shine again!

If ya look at a map of MN you'll see a point sticking out into South Dakota.....I'm pretty much at the tip of that point on Lake Traverse. the south end of the lake is the very tip of that point. It's great up here.....nice and peaceful. It's a HUGE lake (12th largest in the State) but nobody knows it's here (I love living off the beaten path) and it's a Great walleye fishing lake not to mention Northern Pike, Crappies, Jumbo Perch, Channel Cats, Silver Bass and HUGE SUNNY's. The best part about is very few %$#@&^ Jetski's to piss me off while I'm fishin

*****I do offer my Semi-Professional Fishing Guide services......the going rate is a half rack of Grain Belt or in your case Leinenkugels  but with rising gas prices I might have to bump that to a 1/2 rack plus a Six-Pack this year  *****

Here's a picture of a 9 pounder I took outta the Lake 2 summers ago...the other picture is of my fishin Bubby and a Channel cat she caught last summer. Corinne will fish till the Cows come home

Here's me, just another day at the Office

Here's what happens when the Lake get angry (this one cost me about $700 to fix)

Here a Sunset picture from my dock.....I never get tired of watchin'em
