Very nice 2nd gens! I absolutely love the '78! What a car!

I can't wait to see the '74 done. Before I bought my '79, I went and looked at a '73. The early 2nd gens make beautiful cars and you don't see them much anymore...that goes for all 2nd gens actually.

Thanks for the comments guy's. The wheels are actually a factory matte finish and not polished. I chose the silver inlay's on my car since it is a base black Trans Am and not an SE, although I think the gold would have looked good too. The silver is a lighter shade than the factory argent which was a bit darker, I just liked the look better and I am not a stickler for everything having to be factory correct.

The 74 is a slow project. I knew that when I bought it. It's a very solid car for $1000, The 1974 Trans Am is my personal favorite year model of all the 2nd Gen's. I have had it for almost 4 years and its largely dissassembled and right now in storage while I am trying to sell my house and build a new one, juggle work, and a family with 2 kids, but I believe Lord willing, maybe next year I will really start making some progress on the car.

My plans for the 74 will be an overall stock appearance with a nicely built 455 and a tremec 5 speed with some suspension mods. 7" rally 2's with no trim rings and the original cameo white with blue decals. My car did not come with an eagle and I am still undecided on that.
