305 V8 with the 4-speed automatic transmission. One-owner car with 38,992 miles. It was bought new on 4/14/90. The car is Bright Red exterior with Medium Gray interior. The original leather t-top storage zipper bag still resides in the hatchback.
The Chattanooga Custom Bandit II features include the Screamin' Chicken decal on the hood,Gold pin-striping, Gold-tone wheels, ground effects, monogrammed headrests, floor mats and the gold dash plaque: number 85 of 600.
The owner's manual, VIP cassette and window sticker are in very good condition.
The owner kept a comprehensive documentation of all service: oil changes, tire rotations, and all replacement parts. All parts that have been replaced are GM OE parts. Here is what has been replaced, all with OE parts.

I have all receipts for the above items. All were done at the local Pontiac dealership. No corners cut, no questionable parts spared.
The car has always been garaged from day one and covered with a car cover that the buyer will receive. It has never been driven in the rain. It's only use was weekend pleasure drives to the local drive-in and local car shows. It was trailered to the Trans Am Nationals numerous times and competed in the light modified class. It is a multiple trophy winner at the Nats, including several 1st place awards. There are a total of 25 trophies from the Trans Am Nationals, STARS, and local shows that go with the car. Also there are a few photos of the car in HPP magazines, plus all the dash plaques from each year that this car graced the Nats with its presence.
The engine compartment is clean. This car is ready to show as is. As much as I dislike to use the word, this car is rare and its condition is superb, inside and out.
The owners appreciate your interest and hope you enjoy the pictures as much as they have enjoyed showing their Firebirds over the years. They bought these cars brand new, and have never abused them, as can be seen by their show condition. The owners are now getting caught up in some of the health issues that go along with aging and want to find someone who will continue to appreciate and take care of their cars as they have. They have owned this one for 18 years as of this month.
The only thing we could find on the car was that the headlights wouldn't come up. The car was never driven at night so the lights weren't used. They would not come up today when the car was uncovered and backed out of the garage to get the pictures and to test everything.
