My car is a 1979 Firebird Esprit, built in the Norwood factory during the first week of November 1978. It's an "export" model (orange turn signals on tail lights). It was checked by the Belgian customs the 6th of December 1978 and she first saw the road legally the 26th of February 1979.
Exterior was Solar Gold, code 50U/50L. It had the "Body Side Stripe" option in "Buckskin" color, code 64A.
Interior is Camel Tan with Hobnail/Lombardy cloth seats (code 62B) and "Custom Interior" option (like on all Esprits).
Must have had some sort of hubcaps at the time, but I dont know which ones. I should get the PHS documentation.
It still has it's original drivetrain : Buick 3.8L V6 2bbl (code "A" on the VIN) with TH350 transmission. Should I say "numbers matching" ? Odometer reads 62537kms.
Tinted windows, with rear defrost. No A/C. Deluxe cushion steering wheel (standard) and rear spoiler. I need the PHS for more info as I couldn't find the complete build sheet.
Was converted to LPG sometime during the early 80's, then converted back to gas the 7th of May 1987.
